The InterFaith Conference was born of the conviction that community can be created from diversity and that in diversity is the unity that can change the world.  Today the need for that transformational unity is even more apparent.
 
    As leaders in the Baha'i, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Protestant, Roman Catholic, Sikh, and Zoroastrian faith communities, we are resolved to make the national capital region a model of effective interfaith collaboration and an inspiration for peoples everywhere.
