Communications

Since its creation in 1978, The InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington has been involved in issues that resonate far beyond the boundaries of the Washington area, while being focused on its mission to promote dialogue, understanding and a sense of community among persons of diverse faiths and to work cooperatively for social and economic justice in metropolitan Washington.

Through our Communications program, IFC strives to expand public awareness of IFC as a force energizing positive change in ways that thread their way through life and culture in the Washington area. In that spirit, we invite people of all faiths, and those with no faith identification, to explore our website and learn about IFC. We encourage the media, as well as people from all walks of life; people of diverse faiths, educators, public officials, youth, social and community activists, and the public at large – to get to know IFC.

In addition to our website, we report on IFC’s work in our periodic e-newsletter. To be added to our eNewsletter list, click on the button on the right side this website.
