Freer and Sackler Galleries of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC
Dance, play, and feast your way into the Persian New Year with free attractions for all ages, including Haft Sin table displays, "fire" jumping, art activities, board games and a scavenger hunt, Persian stories with Xanthe Gresham, and traditional Persian food for sale by Moby Dick House of Kabob. DJs from Radio Javan and the Nomad Dancers also perform, along with vocalist Monika Jalili (free tickets required).

Performances: Free tickets are required for performances and other selected events in the Meyer Auditorium. Up to four tickets per person can be reserved (for a service fee of $2.75 per ticket and $1.25 per order) beginning 10:00 a.m. the second Monday before the event.
