Hindu

Hinduism is about how to be truly content here and now. A core belief of Hindus is that all human beings are essentially good, blissful and divine.  Joy and fearlessness characterize those who come in touch with their own true nature. However, people are unhappy when they seek passing satisfaction through worldly attainments instead of getting to know their own nature and resting their minds in God. God is One, although known by many names, seen in many forms, and worshipped in many ways. Accepting this unity in diversity, Hindus make no claim to be the exclusive path to God. All people can realize their own inner divinity through various means, including selfless activity to serve the world and systematic spiritual practice to make their hearts pure and their minds clear and calm. The aim of our spiritual practice is to experience the universal by seeing ourselves in all others and seeing all others in us.  Recognizing the innate goodness of our own nature and the innate goodness of all persons we meet is profoundly healing as it overcomes self-doubt and infuses all interactions with love.  Guidance on how to achieve this goal is the primary aim of Hindu scriptures.
